Saturday was the day my father took my brother and me to the Euclid Creek Reservation where I had my first memories of the excitement of spending time in the park. My mother packed a lunch for us. We enjoyed the sandwiches then spent time near the river skipping stones. The Metroparks has a profusion of inspiration for an artist. There are no straight roads here. They follow the lines of Nature. ◊◊◊ I love to include a path or river that winds out of sight in my paintings. It involves the viewer. ◊◊◊ Drive through the Metroparks on a summer day you will see massive bridges, shimmering rivers, picnic tables inviting friends to share a meal, bike riders, horseback riders…time to be together. Accomplished fine art painter.
